After landing at Manchester Airport, complete customs and immigration formalities. Your tour director will welcome you to England and escort you and your luggage to the coach. Next, travel into Llandudno for some time at leisure to explore around the beautiful coastal town independently. You might like to stroll through the vibrant resort town to see the Victorian-era buildings. You may also like to visit the North Shore Beach or spend some time on the lively Pier, where there are plenty of shops, arcade games and restaurants. Continue your journey into Conwy, check into your hotel and enjoy the balance of the afternoon at leisure. In the evening, join your fellow travelers for a welcome dinner in the hotel restaurant.

Today, embark on a sightseeing tour to see Conwy’s most popular sights. Stop to visit Conwy Castle, a magnificent fortress built in the years between 1283 and 1287 by King Edward I. Then, continue on to visit the Bodnant Garden, which were founded in 1874 and spans 80 acres. The garden is said to be one of the most beautiful gardens in the UK and overlooks the stunning Conwy Valley. Head back to your hotel and enjoy the remainder of the day free for independent exploring and dining.

Leaving Conwy, journey into Cardiff and set off on a guided walking tour around the principal streets of city, considered the youngest and fastest-growing capital in Europe. Stop to tour Cardiff Castle, which dates from the 11th century but was extensively rebuilt in the 1860s with elaborate decorations throughout. Motor a short distance to your hotel, check in and settle into your room. Tonight, meet your group in the hotel restaurant for a delicious meal.

This morning, drive into Bath and set off on a panoramic tour of the elegant spa town, which has been famous for its natural hot springs for almost 2,000 years. Then, continue on to visit Stonehenge, a celebrated prehistoric monument that is around 5,000 years old. At one time, the site might have been an ancient burial ground or place of worship for ancient Druids. Head back to your hotel in Cardiff for an evening at leisure.

Departing Cardiff, travel into Fishguard and take a short ferry ride into Rosslare, located in the eastern banks of Ireland. Upon arrival, meet your CIE Tours driver/guide who will welcome you to Ireland and escort you and your luggage to the coach. Next, journey into Waterford and embark on a leisurely walking tour of the historic city with a local guide. Stroll along Merchant’s Quay before passing the Clock Tower, Reginald’s Tower, City Hall, Theatre Royal and many other historical places. Transfer to your nearby hotel, check in and enjoy some free time before dining in the hotel restaurant with your group.

Today will possibly be the highlight of your tour – St. Patrick’s Day in Ireland! After breakfast, set off to explore a section of the breath-taking Ring of Kerry. Along the way, journey into Kenmare and stop to enjoy some time at leisure. Then, continue your drive to Moll’s Gap, which overlooks the three lakes, before traveling to Ladies’ View for more spectacular view of Killarney’s lakes and mountains. Return to Killarney and spend the balance of the day free to participate in the St. Patrick’s Day festivities, which takes over the center of the town. See the colorful bands and decorated floats before taking part in various activities. This is Ireland’s national holiday – so join in the fun! Tonight, you might like to dine in one of the many traditional or modern dinner venues scattered around the charming town.

This morning, you might like to set off on a short ferry ride from Rossaveal to Inis Mor, the largest of the three Aran Islands. These rocky islands are renowned for the hardy islanders who maintained traditional fishing and farming. The Irish language is still spoken widely. Take a minibus ride to Dun Aengus, a huge pre-historic fortress perched on sheer cliffs, which fall away to the Atlantic Ocean below. Have a look around Kilronan before heading back to Galway. If you do not wish to visit the Aran Islands, enjoy the day at leisure to browse, shop and sightsee independently in Galway. In the evening, you may like to dine in one of the many restaurants or pubs that Galway has to offer.
