That’s why we traveled straight to the heart of bourbon country—Kentucky, where the air smells like sweet corn and oak and time itself moves at the pace of aging whiskey. We were honored to be invited as one of only a handful of restaurants in the state given the rare opportunity to select our very own private barrel.

This wasn’t a catalog order or a marketing gimmick. It was a hands-on, nose-in, taste-it-three-times kind of day. We walked the rickhouses, talked shop with the distillers, and tasted from multiple barrels drawn straight from the source. Each sip told a different story—some sweet, some floral, some with a spicy kick that lingered just right.

We chose the one that spoke to us. A barrel that wasn’t just good— it was unmistakably Spinnerstown. Rich, dark cherry, cocoa, caramel, nutmeg, cinnamon; balanced, and built for sipping slow.
